ELECTRO-VOICE: Gulf Coast Sound and Electro-Voice provide sound solution for Word of God Ministries
In the design and install business, your reputation rides not only on the quality of your own work, but also on the backing of the manufacturers whose products you recommend to your customers. Design input, rapid fulfillment, system tuning, and assistance with troubleshooting are all factors can make the difference between a job that stays on track and a job that ends with an unhappy client or an unsatisfactory result. Manufacturers that make these support services readily available become true partners to their dealer-installers, with each helping to reinforce the success of the other. It was because of this type of working relationship with Electro-Voice that Larry Habetz of Gulf Coast Sound recommended EV to Word of God Ministries for the sound system in the church's newly constructed worship center in Shreveport, Louisiana. — July 2011 <READ MORE>

This year the festival's theme was A Tribute to Elvis and featured performances by guitar heavyweights including Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Doyle Dykes, Steve Lukather, Albert Lee and Junior Brown, all of whom sounded superb thanks to a state-of-the-art Electro-Voice sound system from Gulf Coast Sound (Rayne , La.). — September 2009 <READ MORE>

ELECTRO-VOICE: EV Sound for 'All the King's Men' U.S. Premiere
Starring Sean Penn, Kate Winslet and Jude Law, the movie is based upon the life and times of legendary Louisiana politician Huey P. Long. Having spent the weeks immediately preceding the Katrina disaster in and around New Orleans, cast members returned to the Crescent City for the premiere, voicing appreciation for the hospitality they were shown during production. Inside the 1,500-seat auditorium, the audience response to the movie was equally enthusiastic, largely thanks to a stellar sound production job by Boston Light & Sound, Inc., who worked with regional company Gulf Coast Sound of Rayne, La., to deploy an EV XLC system at the historic venue. — September 2006 <READ MORE>

MIX: Local Crew: Gulf Coast Sound
Sometimes, upgrading a piece of gear can mean the difference between garnering a few more clients and becoming a top-rated sound reinforcement provider. For Rayne, La., based Gulf Coast Sound , that magical purchase was an Electro-Voice XLC compact line array. "From that moment," CEO Larry Habetz remembers, "it's been like pouring gas on the fire. Buying those boxes qualified us as a player in the field." — September 2006 <READ MORE>
